A First Look At HRH Princess Aisha Bint Faisal’s Fairytale Wedding

The princess married at Zahran Palace this week, wearing a gown reminiscent of one of Hollywood’s most historic wedding dresses

In the esteemed presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the wedding ceremony of Her Royal Highness Princess Aisha bint Faisal and Mr. Karim Al Mufti took place on Monday, May 12, at Zahran Palace.

Princess Aisha bint Faisal of Jordan is the daughter of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and Princess Alia, and the niece of His Majesty King Abdullah II. She is also the younger sister of Princess Ayah and Prince Omar, and the identical twin of Princess Sara.

The ceremony was graced by the attendance of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hassan bin Talal, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, as well as members of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein’s family.

Princess Aisha bint Faisal wore a beautiful diamond flower tiara similar to the one worn by her sister, Princess Ayah, for her wedding in 2014, complemented by classic diamond earrings and a simple diamond tennis bracelet. These elegant jewels were chosen to suit the timeless glamour of the bride’s dress; a satin and lace gown that echoed the style of Princess Grace of Monaco’s gown crafted by costume designer Helen Rose in 1956. Princess Aisha’s dress bore a similar high neck, short cape detail and nipped in waist, with a ballgown skirt layered over its column silhouette.

The Royal Hashemite Court extended its heartfelt congratulations to Her Highness Princess Aisha bint Faisal and Mr. Karim Al Mufti on this joyful occasion, wishing them a lifetime filled with happiness and harmony.
