
Who Won At The 89th Academy Awards
Records were broken, mistakes were made…
If there’s one thing to say about the 89th annual Academy Awards then it’s expect the unexpected – well apart from Emma Stone winning the Oscar for Actress In A Leading Role of course. Unfortunately for her co-stars and front-runner after receiving 14 nominations in total, “La La Land” who was originally announced as the winner of Best Picture had to give up their accolade after they were accidently announced instead of “Moonlight”. Viola Davis finally won her first Oscar for “Fences” and received a well-deserved standing ovation, whilst Mahershala Ali took an award home to his 4-day-old daughter and wife.
