With notes of mandarin and jasmine, Louis Vuitton’s newest scent, Le Jour Se Lève, which launches on 15 March, is like bottled sunshine. According to the brand’s master perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, it radiates optimism, making it a perfect daytime fragrance.

As scent is so personal, and often tied to memories, Louis Vuitton asked four women to tell them exactly what they thought of when they smelled it for the first time. Mothers Dana Malhas, Zoya Sakr, Nour Keilani, and mother-to-be Lana El Sahely reminisced about different things, including family, childhood and home.
