Harper's Bazaar Arabia: Congratulations from team Bazaar, Lana! How far along are you?
Lana El Sahely: 20 weeks!

HB: Do you know if you’re having a boy or a girl?
LS: Not yet, I’m just focusing on baby’s health until we get excited about the next part.

HB: Any names in mind yet?
LS: If it’s a girl, I will name her Rania after my mother who’s my biggest role model and support.

HB: This is definitely going to be one of the best dressed babies in town, any fashion brands in particular that you’re excited to be able to start shopping from the junior section?
LS: I have a confession to make: I have no skills when it comes to baby fashion! There’s an old saying in Lebanon that claims it’s bad luck to shop before the 7th of month, so I’m still in research mode for now.

HB: Your reality TV show My Fabulous Me with E! airs in two weeks – are you excited?
LS: Yes! People are going to love it.

HB: What was it like to have cameras follow you round every single day?
LS: It was a little weird at first but I love videos and sharing my daily tips with others, so I was happy to give a glimpse into my life at the office and at home. It actually ended up feeling normal having the cameras around!

HB: If there's a season two, can we expect to see your little one make a cameo or two?
LS: I am usually quite quiet about my private and family life, so it will be a challenge to find the right balance with what I’m comfortable sharing but, in short, yes, my baby will be a big part of my life.

HB: Any parenting posts or baby blogs on the way for www.lanaelsahely.com?
LS: Yes! I want to take people on my pregnancy journey. We also have some more exciting projects coming up: from the first week of January I will be releasing some very exciting YouTube episodes with content that focuses on nutrition, health and fitness, and readers can also expect some cool capsule collections with children’s brands launching on my e-shop. But before any of that, on 12 December my holiday season collaboration with 13 regional designers will go live. Lots to look forward to!
