Announcing the release of the new Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Sand, the story reveals a branded ziploc bag stuffed with “100% real sand”. With the waitlist now open, Desert Dusk Sand will be available to purchase from today, April 1st.

Huda’s gone the extra mile with this year’s April Fool’s Day prank, sending bags of the sand to select influencers to ‘test’, comparing the high-quality Dubai sand to its grittier counterpart from the playgrounds of L.A. and showing off swatches.
Huda even repostedd a teaser of Instagrammer Ania Guellard spreading the sand on her face, creating heated discussions in the comments about the viability of the product.
While Huda is no stranger to suggesting unusual and sometimes unadvisable skincare hacks – hi there, lemon juice, nutmeg, sea salt – you’d have to be a few eye shadows short of a palette to fall for this one. Right?
