Kim Kardashian West Goes Make-Up Free To Demonstrate How To Use Her Contour Kit

Kim Kardashian West took her first steps into the world of beauty last week, and the move was unsurprisingly a good one. Releasing her debut Contour & Highlight kits on KKWBeauty.com, the kits sold out almost immediately, netting Kim upwards of Dhs5.1 million, with the brunette star promising a re-stock soon to keep up with demand.

Overnight, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took to Instagram to share an Instagram live video with her fans about how she uses the kit herself. (Interestingly, she also spoke about how she has been taking feedback on board from beauty bloggers about the kit’s brush and that she’s looking at switching it up in the next drop as a result).

Starting from scratch, Kim appeared totally natural in the video as she begun to explain her process. How does it all start? With Tatcha Dewy Skin Face Mist which she applies to the sponge end of the dual-end brush in the kit. Once she’s applied concealer, Kim sweeps the before using the highlight to make it all pop.

She told fans, “It’s super creamy, super blendable,” and that they should take care as a result when applying as it glides on so smoothly they don’t need much for the magic to happen. She added, “Contour is not scary, it can be so easy and just fun to do. So that’s why I made these kits to show you guys it’s just so easy.”
