Kylie Cosmetics Closes Down Due To Coronavirus
Kylie Jenner’s popular make-up brand will temporarily halt production
An announcement on its website has confirmed that Kylie Cosmetics will be halting production and distribution temporarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following orders from California State Government regarding health concerns, the brand will no longer be shipping online orders until further notice. The official statement adds that orders made on or after March 16 can be cancelled and fully refunded if not shipped.

Beauty mogul and influencer Kylie Jenner made the announcement after the enactment of order in California that requires workers in non-essential services to stay at home. The 23-year-old herself has been in self-isolation for a while and is a strong advocate on social media for social distancing.
Other fashion houses have also shut down production elsewhere in the world due to lockdowns. Kylie’s sister, Kim Kardashian also closed down the fulfilment for her own brand KKW Beauty. However, a post on Instagram later clarified that Kylie Skin, the sister company to the cosmetics line, would remain open.
