A pungent and prized fragrance loved by the Middle East, the warm, intoxicating and cocooning aroma of oud lends itself to the winter season. And just in time for Christmas, Narciso Rodriguez has released a new regionally-inspired fragrance, Oud Musc.
Paying tribute to the rich olfactory culture of the Middle East, celebrated perfumer Caroline Sabas created the new fragrance, which boasts spicy notes of black pepper, and assertive woody accords softened with a sensual floral touch.
“Oud has always maintained a rarefied position in the world of fragrance, as it still does today. With Oud Musc, the idea was to create a scent that’s profoundly original, a scent that can’t quite be defined or ignored and, as always, it must be addictive,” says Narciso Rodriguez.
