There’s A Massive Beauty Event Taking Place In Dubai This Week
Makeovers, giveaways, tutorials and the chance to meet Maya Diab
If you dream of applying make-up that’s worthy a double-tap on Instagram, then this is the event for you. The Beauty Room is running at Galeries Lafayette Dubai from 11-20 January, with make-over sessions, giveaways, beauty consultations, pop-up tutorials and masterclasses.
Fashion and beauty icon Maya Diab is making a guest appearance at the launch on January 11 from 6pm until 7pm. Fans will have a chance to meet and greet the Lebanese pop singer at the event, which is part of Dubai Shopping Festival.
Although Maya is most famous as an entertainer, actress and television personality, her sharp dressing and flawless make-up has seen her win a number of prestigious fashion and beauty awards.
For those of you looking to pick up some tips, make-up artists Soraya Shawky and Sabrina Tubic will be on-hand with advice on how to create looks straight from the runway. With hundreds of thousands of Instagram and YouTube followers, both beauty influencers have amassed a huge fan base through their stunning tutorials.
During the event, if you spend more than Dhs850 on make-up you’ll receive a beauty pouch, and if you spend more than Dhs1,200 on fragrance you’ll get an atomizer.
