Emily Ratajkowski Is The New Face Of Kérastase
Emily joins a prestigious roster of women including Kate Moss and January Jones
It was only a matter of time before Emily Ratajkowski landed herself a major beauty campaign, and yesterday the 26-year old model made her debut as Kérastase’s new hair muse.
Our January cover star announced the news on social media to her some 16 million followers, sharing the black and white images shot by Inez & Vinoodh. She wrote: “So excited to announce that I am the new face of @kerastase_official ! Welcome good hair days!”
“I am excited and proud to be chosen as a Kérastase ambassador,” says Emily of the partnership. “Hair is essential to how I express myself. I love that feeling of clean, textured, natural hair that instantly makes me feel more confident. I consider my hair as the reflection of my inner strength. It’s not an ornament but a way to express myself. I think that’s true for all women. There’s such an empowering femininity to hair. It allows women to define who they want to be. That’s why they deserve the best care.”
The L’Oréal-owned haircare brand teased the announcement on Instagram earlier this week, posting a short video that the side of the woman’s face and a few strands of hair.
The news breaks just days after the French cosmetics comapny announce Alexa Chung and Winona Ryder as two new faces of the brand, which begs the question: who will be next?
Looks like 2018 is going to be the hottest year in hair yet!
