Michael Cinco, known for his exquisite and elaborate haute couture designs, has just created a fully crystallised wedding gown, with an incredible three-metre train detailing intricate petal layers and approximately 200,000 Swarovski crystals.
The unnamed special client, who is reportedly Abu Dhabi-based, dreamed of having a '50s inspired Dior gown, but with a classic Cinco twist. It has been said that the dress took nearly 1,000 hours to complete, brought to life by 15 skilled artisans who handmade the immaculate dress.
Cinco himself said of the gown: "It takes a village just to transport a three-metre couture wedding gown from the studio to the client’s final fitting." And judging from one of his latest Instagram posts, we don’t think he’s lying:
A truly magical, unforgettable wedding day is every bride's dream - and wearing a gown like that will most definitely ensure that no-one will be forgetting the day. In fact, guests will probably find it hard to get the sight of those shimmering shining sparkles out of their minds – but then again, there are worse problems to have.
The talented Filipino designer, founded his eponymous label in Dubai in 2003. He has since gone on to dress the likes of Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and others.
