From the Ketab Kitab to the wedding celebrations, Bazaar Arabia brings you along to the celebrations here
Congratulations to Yasmine Kenawi and her husband, Mostafa Abdelaziz!

The celebrity stylist, known for dressing some of the biggest stars in the region and beyond, has officially tied the knot. The couple celebrated their love this past week in Cairo with a series of lavish events, that spanned over the course of a few days, and concluded yesterday evening at Mohamed Ali Palace with a grand flower-filled party – complete with a Marie Antoinette-inspired dessert table.

The couple met three years ago at a party (“He actually found my earring on the floor and here we are today!” she laughs) and have been inseparable ever since.
The bride is known for styling the likes of Jamila Awad, Salma Abu Deif and former WWE star Erika Hammond, and works closely with some of the fashion’s most notable publications including Harper’s Bazaar Arabia; her husband, Mostafa, works as a project manager at Palm Hills Development, one of Egypt’s most prominent real estate companies.

In celebration of Yasmine and Mostafa’s blissful wedding celebrations, we share all the highlights from the nuptials here.
Inside Yasmine Kenawi and Mostafa Abdelaziz’s Ketab Kitab
For her Ketab Kitab, which was held on December 3rd, Yasmine decided to work with one of Lebanon’s best-loved designers for bridal wear: Georges Hobeika.

“They truly feel like family to me,” the stylist said. “I couldn’t believe I found this white satin dress—simple yet elegant, with the perfect fit and flow for the ceremony. It was timeless and graceful, exactly what I was looking for.”

“To add a little personal flair, I wore my great-grandmother’s delicate ring on top of my eternity band, which made the look even more meaningful and connected me to my roots,” Yasmine says. “For footwear, I opted for the Louboutin Kate heels – super sleek and elegant, with just the right amount of edge to elevate the whole look. I wanted a red sole as well – it matched my decor. The pearl jewellery set from Noora Shamsi was also my favourite touch. It all came together perfectly, blending vintage, elegance, and a touch of contemporary style.”
The Big Day
The Decor
Yasmine and Mostafa hosted family and friends at Mohamed Ali Palace. The history of the location influenced everything from the bride’s look to the décor.
The couple trusted wedding planner Dina Iskander to bring their bridal visions to life.

“From the very beginning, we decided we wanted to transport our guests into the world of Mohamed Ali Palace as if they went back in time,” Yasmine shares. “We went with an all-white palette as the base, which set the tone of sophistication, and then added accents of green, burgundy, and aubergine to bring depth and warmth to the space.”

“The roses and greenery were abundant, adding a romantic, timeless feel, while the ample candles created a soft, magical glow that made everything feel intimate and luxurious. Food and art were integral to the experience, elevating the atmosphere with a perfect balance of beauty and indulgence. There were vintage mirrors and a Marie Antoinette-inspired dessert table!”

The nuptials were attended by Jamila Awad, Asmaa Galal, Mohamed Farag, and Amira Adeeb.

Yasmine’s Bridal Look
The bride wore a lace corseted gown by Dubai-based Syrian designer and stylist Elias Riga, which was transformed into the perfect celebration look for the cake-cutting moment.

“When I decided to work with Elias Riga, the first thing I told him was that I didn’t want anything that felt déjà vu. I wanted something completely fresh, unique, and bold,” she says. “Elias is incredible at thinking outside the box, and he completely understood my vision. We wanted to tell a story through my looks as the night evolved, capturing different moods while keeping everything cohesive.”

“Elias came up with the idea of creating two lace corsets and one tight almost mermaid-like lace skirt that could seamlessly blend together to look like a single dress, offering a dynamic yet fluid silhouette,” she explains. “The first look was all about romance and femininity. It had a royal feel, yet it was super modern — especially with the veil, which became the focal point. It was both classic and contemporary, capturing the spirit of Mohamed Ali Palace in a fresh way.”
Yasmine reveals how the look was transformed for cake cutting.

“For the second look, which I wore during the cake cutting, we switched things up to make it a little edgier. The skirt remained the same, but we swapped out the corset for a much more sleeker one and added sleeves, giving the look a more modern and cool vibe,” she says.

“As we moved into the after-party, that’s when we really got fashion-forward. It was all about the taffeta cape,” Yasmine says, explaining her third look of the night. “I’m completely obsessed with it. It was the perfect finishing touch to take the look to a whole new level of glamour, while still feeling modern and fun.”

“Under the cape was a completely new dress – shimmery, sexy but still royal – it even had this almost wet look to it. The entire journey of my bridal looks was a reflection of elegance, timelessness, and a touch of drama, just like the palace that inspired it all.”

And, of course, no bridal look is complete without the jewels.

“For my wedding, I wore a stunning diamond and aquamarine marquise jewelry set by Noora Shamsim,” she said. “The combination of diamonds and aquamarine was especially meaningful because my zodiac sign is Libra, and it’s said that aquamarine brings good energy and balance, which felt so fitting for the day. I also wore my great-grandmother’s ring which added a personal touch.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
