Sheikh Mohammed Applauds The Healthcare Heroes Of The UAE
The ruler of Dubai praised the courage and determination of the people working to fight the novel coronavirus
During this period of quarantine and self-isolation, it’s easy to forget all the people working behind the scenes to keep us safe. That’s why His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai took to social media to laud the heroes who combat the coronavirus.

Sheikh Mohammed’s post on Twitter praises medical care professionals and other workers at the frontline of the war on Covid-19, saying: “Thank you to all of those in the first line of defense. Thanks you for your sacrifices, sleepless nights, and efforts made for the sake of the nation. You are the true nation protectors and our loyal soldiers. I call on everyone to thank them for their strenuous and sustained efforts being made around the clock. To all doctors, nurses, paramedics and administrators in our health sector, Thank You.”

At the end of the video, Sheikh Mohammed also launched a social media tag #ThankYouHeroes. Though the fight to flatten the curve hasn’t ended just yet, he assured everyone that national leaders are standing behind the health and medical professionals who are working round the clock since the pandemic started.
