From Imaan Hammam to Nora Attal, models from the Arab region captivated on the catwalk
Haute Couture Week has come and gone, and alongside a tapestry of exquisite collections, a few regional faces stood out to us on the runway.
Just as Arab designers are increasingly taking over Couture Week each year, models from the region are establishing themselves as regular fixtures at the bi-annual showcase.
Below, Bazaar Arabia shares all the regional models who walked in the Autumn/Winter 2024 Haute Week shows…
Nora Attal
British-Moroccan model, Nora Attal represented regional talent last week when she walked in Ashi Studio’s Haute Couture show. The 21-year-old model came down the runway in a stunning sheer gown adorned with tassels. She also took to the Chanel runway on the Tuesday, wearing a heavily embellished, fitted jacket. The black sequined garment featured intricate beadwork in a floral motif, with hints of purple, green, and yellow accents.
Imaan Hammam
The Dutch-Moroccan-Egyptian beauty transformed into a vision of gilded glamour in Schiaparelli’s Autumn/Winter show. Wearing a corseted navy dress featuring a skirt comprised of fringe detail, Imaan slowly sashayed down the runway, mesmerising the audience with her elegance and grace.
Loli Bahia
Loli Bahia turned heads this week when she also made a striking appearance on the Chanel runway. The 21-year-old French-Algerian model exuded effortless poise and beauty wearing a black, white, and pink tweed set synonymous with the Maison’s iconic style. Her look comprised of a contoured jacket adorned with a braid, and a matching skirt with chic black tassels. Black strappy heels and a bow accent in her hair finished off the look with a distinct Chanel flair.
Farnoush Hamidian
The Iranian model stunned on the runway of Stephane Rolland last week before attending the rest of Haute Couture Week in style. She also glowed during an evening with Chopard, wearing a glittering silver gown by Elio Abou Fayssal and completed the look with a cascading feather cape.
