Day one of Paris Haute Couture week kicked off with a spellbinding showcase of captivating creations

From mesmerising designs coming down the catwalk to A-list celebrities sitting front row, Paris is bustling with sartorial splendour as Haute Couture Week commences.

Schiaparelli opened the showcase with a nod to the 1950s, while Georges Hobeika exemplified regional flair with a whimsical collection inspired by the spiritual realm. Below, Bazaar Arabia rounds up all the highlights from Day One.

Schiaparelli Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2024

Inspired by the surrealist creations discovered in the wardrobe of the maison’s founder, Elsa Schiaparelli, creative director Daniel Roseberry presented an Haute Couture collection that embodied the maison’s daring and artful aesthetic. Dramatic silhouettes, chic corsets, and opulent feathers defined the house’s A/W 2024 collection, with an opulent cape of golden feathers crowned the most eye-catching ensemble of all.
