Known as one of the most prestigious properties in the UAE, Armani Hotels is expanding to Diriyah, a 15-minutes commute from Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.
The new location will feature the brand’s signature accents from Dubai’s existing hotels like the high-end spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, suites, landscaped terraces, and much more. And that’s not all; the upcoming development will also include luxury Armani-branded residences furnished by the Italian brand, truly the cherry on top.
The aesthetics of the upcoming luxury resort will capture Saudi Arabia’s culture and heritage by incorporating the unique architecture of Diriyah and utilising various materials. In collaboration with Giorgio Armani, the new hotel is undoubtedly one to look out for.
The Italian fashion designer mentions,”This is a pioneering project that was born from rediscovering Saudi Arabia’s roots: a dialogue between history and the present that I find very fascinating. Armani Hotel Diriyah allows me to interpret my idea of lifestyle and hospitality in a particularly subtle and embracing way. After celebrating the tenth anniversary of the opening of the Armani Hotels in Milan and Dubai, I am ready to take on this exciting new challenge. I am inspired by this initiative and delighted to be part of a project of such wide geographical and cultural scope.”
Diriyah is a 300-year-old town, home to many significant sites like the UNESCO World Heritage Site, At-Turaif Museum, and the future Diriyah development that features 13 districts. With several new developments in the making, the town is set to become one of the region’s must-see historical destinations.
