It’s Complicated. After being seen embracing the American rapper in Nobu LA’s parking lot before departing in the same car, according to TMZ, early 2000s pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne is in the news again, this time for sharing more than a friendly hug with Tyga.
So… Are Avril Lavigne And Tyga Dating?
Avril and her boyfriend musician Mod Sun were engaged in March 2023 when the multi-instrumentalist proposed to her in the city of love. Despite being seen attending a pre-Grammy party together last month, the Grammy award-nominated singer and her fiancé called it quits.
On the other hand, Tyga allegedly began his controversial relationship with reality TV star Kylie Jenner when she was 17 years old and the rapper was 24. The American performer featured his then-girlfriend in his music videos Stimulated and Dope’d Up after which the couple eventually broke up in 2017.
Avril was spotted with Tyga just a day before her reps confirmed she was no longer engaged. More recently, the duo was captured getting cosy at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party at Paris Fashion Week.
Derek Ryan Smith, who professionally goes by Mod Sun, took to Instagram to share a candid message about his recent breakup. “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all. I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken ?”, he said.
