Just in, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and Cricketer KL Rahul have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony today.
The actress took to Instagram to share beautiful photos from the ceremony. She mentions in the caption,“In your light, I learn how to love…” ♥️
“Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness. ??”
The couple look stunning in their matching pink and white ensembles.
The dynamic duo have been rumoured to be together for over four years now. However, they have decided to make it official today at the bride’s father Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse, in the presence of their closest friends and family.
The star-studded event was limited to 100 guests and said to have a strict no-phone policy to avoid leaks and maintain the couple’s privacy, reports The Times of India.
The wedding procession, or baarat, started earlier today from Radisson Hotel, where the groom and his family were staying, the publication confirmed. The wedding party then arrived at Suniel’s abode at 2:30 pm IST (1 pm GST) to officially begin the spectacular events of the day.
And the nuptials finally took place at 4.15 pm IST (2:45pm GST) today as guests took in the breathtaking beauty of the dreamy venue. Athiya and Rahul will be addressing the media and the public at 6.30 pm IST (5 pm GST), writes The Times of India.
