Bella Hadid and Naomi Campbell Take Qatar By Storm
The pair were spotted together taking a tour of the Museum of Islamic Art for the opening night of Qatar Creates
Celebrities, model and fashion industry insiders from around the world have descended upon Doha in anticipation of one of the region’s most prestigious awards nights. And while Fashion Trust Arabia will be honouring its awardees tonight, many have wasted no time in taking in the many sights and exhibitions Qatar has to offer, allowing themselves to be inspired by the artifacts of the Arab world.
Supermodels Bella Hadid and Naomi Campbell are no exception as the pair were spotted touring the Museum of Islamic Art together yesterday evening. Dress in Schiaparelli, they met up at the opening night of Qatar Creates, where Naomi took her on a tour of the exhibition ahead of her EMERGE Initiative Fashion Show, which she will be hosting on October 28th.
This wasn’t the Palestinian-American-Dutch supermodel’s first museum visit of the day. When Bella arrived in town with her father, real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid, hours earlier she took a tour of “Labour Of Love: Embroidering Palestinian History” at Qatar Museums, dressed in Valentino’s Spring Summer 2023 Unboxing Collection (styled by Carlos Nazario).
“Landed in Doha and went straight to see the incredible new Palestine exhibition, ‘Labour of Love,’” Bella wrote within her cation. “Embroidering Palestinian History will take visitors on a journey of discovery of tatreez embroidery as woven into the social, economic, and political fabric of Palestinian society, through different historical periods.”
The catwalk queen, who recently made a cameo in the third season of Ramy, highlighted how it was an emotional experience for her. “This show brought tears to my eyes and even more pride for my beautiful Palestinian roots and people. I love you Qatar and I love you Palestine!” she wrote in the caption.
