Deepika Padukone made her MET Gala debut in 2017 when she was filming her first Hollywood movie with Vin Diesel, XXX: Return of Xander Cage. And last evening, the 2023 MET Gala took place in NYC, where celebrities from around the globe made their way to the historic monument in their best fashion ensembles.

However, fans were genuinely disappointed when they did not see award-winning Indian actor make her appearance at the prestigious event last evening. While the star hadn’t confirmed whether or not she would be attending, many assumed that Deepika would be there alongside Alia and Isha Ambani.
