Inside Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s Pre-Wedding Luxury Cruise
Building up to their anticipated nuptials, the young couple will dazzle guests with a multi-day event on both land and sea
The second phase of the Ambani pre-wedding festivities are currently in full swing. This week, the billionaire couple are hosting friends and family aboard a luxury cruise sailing from Italy to the South of France.
Setting sail from May 28 to June 1, the four-day extravaganza will feature a packed itinerary of themed parties and events, attended by a roster of A-list guests.
Earlier this week, Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Salman Khan were spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport, making their way to the grand festivities.
With 800 guests and 600 staff members reportedly on board, the event promises an opulent getaway like no other.
Setting Sail
Titled La Vita E Un Viaggio , meaning ‘life is a journey’, the cruise will welcome guests with a decadent lunch on May 29. Featuring a classic cruise dress code, the heart meal will be followed by a glittering gala called, ‘Starry Night’, where guests will party into the evening.
Roman Adventure
On day two, the yacht will dock in in the Italian capital. Titled ‘Roman Holiday’, guests are required to dress up as chic tourists, with the pre-wedding celebrations continuing on land. In the evening, a lively toga party will ensue on board, honouring the heritage of the historical city.
Birthday Bash
The following day, on May 31, the future Mr and Mrs Ambani will host a special event called ‘V Turns One Under The Sun’, in celebration of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s daughter Veda, who will be turning one years old.
French Connection
In the evening, after the birthday bash, there will be a chic masquerade party followed by an after-party called ‘Pardon My French’.
Italian Summer
To round off the festivities, guests will enjoy a ‘La Dolce Vita’ party in Portofino, dressed in attire reminiscent of an Italian summer.
Mirroring the cruise’s cultural adventure, the event’s cuisine will offer a global culinary explosion. The menu will comprise of everything from Mexican and Parsi, to Thai and Japanese dishes, catering to every palate.
There is also reportedly a strict no-phones policy on board.
