Congratulations are in order for Hilary Swank!
The 48-year-old award-winning actress has announced she’s starting a family and will soon be expecting not one, but two babies with her husband Philip Schneider.
“This is something I’ve been wanting for a long time. My next thing is… I’m going to be a mom! And not just of one, but of two!” the actress told the presents of Good Morning America, sharing her excitement at soon becoming a first-time mother.
Is Hilary Swank Having Her Twins Via Surrogacy?
The 48-year-old actress has yet to confirm whether or not she is carrying the twins or will be bringing them into the world via surrogacy.
While fans may speculate that she has been advised by her doctors to opt for surrogacy due to her age (pregnancies over 35 years of age are considered geriatric within the medical community and, often, can be classified as high risk for complications) Hilary has yet to confirm any details regarding how she will be bringing her family into the world.
Recently, A-list celebrities like Kim and Khloe Kardashian have been open about welcoming their babies into the world with the help of science, along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Camille Grammer Meyer.
When is Hilary Swank due?
While it’s impossible to have an accurate idea of Hilary’s exact due date without her confirmation, most women don’t share they’re pregnant or expecting until after the first trimester is over.
This means the twins could potentially be due to arrive earthside sometime around Spring 2023 if the actress (or her surrogate) is around three to six months along – however, without official confirmation the due date is currently anyone’s guess.
