Rahma Riad and Alexander Uloom Announce Their Engagement
The Iraqi singer took to Instagram to share the news of her engagement to the American model and actor
Netizens have been buzzing with the news of the engagement announcement after the couple shared stunning images together on Instagram in celebration of the happy news.
The Iraqi singing sensation, best known for being on the judging panel of the first season of Iraq Idol and for performing on season 7 of Star Academy posted a sweet photo with her new beau, cheekily captioning the post “Congratulate me.”
Her fiancé, Alexander Uloom, in turn, posted a picture and captioned it, “A promise from me and I took her. Congratulate me.” Uloom recently emerged in the world of Arab drama after his modeling career in the United States took off, where he worked with high end designers such as Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana.
He found himself in the entertainment industry amidst the success of last year’s Ramadan series “Um Badeela” which translates to “Alternate Mother,” where he co-starred alongside a number of notable Iraqi celebrities and Lebanese stars.
