Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is no stranger to those well-versed in both Indian cinema and the fashion world. The critically acclaimed actress has made waves with her on-screen presence in Neerja and of course her jaw-dropping fashion looks. Coming from a family of multi-talented individuals – her father is actor Anil Kapoor whose career in Bollywood spans over an impressive 40 years but yet he seems to defy the natural laws of ageing, and sister is Rhea Kapoor, a film producer with a keen eye for style with whom Sonam has worked to curate her boldest looks – it is no surprise that people are curious as to know more about the mother-to-be’s other half, Anand Ahuja.

How old is Anand Ahuja?
Anand was born on July 29, 1983 in New Delhi, India. At 38 years old, he is two years older than his wife, Sonam. A Delhi native, Anand grew up in the Indian capital with his parents, Harish and Priya Ahuja and two younger brothers, Anant and Amit.
He is a University of Pennsylvania Alum
According to his LinkedIn, Anand attended University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science, Economics, International Relations. He was also a member of the university’s Oracle Senior Honor Society.
He is a sneakerhead
Anand is a self-proclaimed sneaker enthusiast and often shares his latest kicks with his impressive Instagram audience. He co-founded the store in 2016 with Abhineet Singh, blending one’s love for classic sneakers with the other’s for modern interpretations.
He founded Bhaane, VegNonVeg and Camp India Private Limited
Coming from a family with a background in apparel manufacturing and being married to Sonam, it comes as no surprise that Anand has taken his business acumen into the fashion industry.
Bhaane was founded in 2012 to celebrate India’s boundless artistic talent. The homegrown contemporary clothing brand focuses on crafting pieces that are eco-conscious and cater to the urban millennial. Sonam has since brought her fashion and style expertise to the brand.
VegNonVeg is an ode to his love for sneakers, bringing the game to the country as India’s first multi-brand premium sneaker store.
Camp India Private Limited, founded by Anand and Sonam, is a highly specialized strategic partner to global brands like Nike and Converse. RISEINDIA, a strategic partner for Nike stores in India, is a company that comes under the label and has stores in Mumbai and Delhi.
When did Sonam and Anand Ahuja Get Married?
Sonam and Anand tied the knot on May 8, 2018 in an intimate Sikh ceremony with friends and family followed by a star-studded reception in Mumbai, India. The couple were introduced to each other in 2015 when Sonam was promoting her film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and her friends tried setting her up with one of his friends. However, the universe had other plans and the two have been living by the motto #EverydayPhenomenal since.
