A negative COVID-19 test is mandatory for all individuals who wish to enter or exit the emirate

Abu Dhabi has updated its restrictions, when it comes to allowing residents from other emirates to visit or pass through the capital.

All those planning to enter #AbuDhabi are required to take a COVID-19 test outside the emirate. The text message showing a negative test result received within 48 hours must be shown in order to enter.

According to Arabian Business, anyone planning on entering can now do so, but they need to take a COVID-19 test and present proof of negative results via text message to authorities in order to enter or exit the emirate.

Addressing the community’s needs, guidelines for entry to #AbuDhabi have been updated to enable those leaving to take a test in the emirate before departing and present this result on return, provided this result is within 48 hours of receipt. pic.twitter.com/B4txgfKSvy

For individuals planning shorter trips, tests can be done within the emirate.
