Amal Clooney Arrived At Meghan Markle’s Baby Shower In The Most Stylish Jumpsuit
The Lebanese lawyer turned heads in red on a snowy day in NYC
This past week, the Duchess of Sussex held a two-day baby shower in New York City. It was attended by many of her famous gal pals, including Serena Williams and Abigail Spencer, but one particular guest that caught our eye was Amal Clooney, looking chic and gorgeous-as-ever in a satin belted red jumpsuit from Sergio Hudson’s autumn/winter 18 collection.
The Lebanese human rights lawyer, never failing to impress us with her style, braved the snow and stayed warm with a black Chanel jacket draped over her bold yet elegant ensemble. She styled the celebratory look with metallic-gold Gianvito Rossi heels and gold hoop earrings.
It’s rumoured that Serena, and perhaps even Amal herself, hosted the lavish event instead of Kensington Palace, generally responsible for Royal Family festivites. Prior to the guest arrivals at the five-star Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side, harpist Erin Hill was spotted stepping out at the trendy spot, as was a cotton candy machine and an array of roses and peonies.

The scenes outside the hotel were red carpet-esque as the Duchess of Sussex’s star-studded guest list showed up at the glamorous gathering. Meghan’s long-time friend Jessica Mulroney, CBS anchor Gayle King and makeup artist Daniel Martin were amongst those in attendance. The night before, the Duchess was spotted dining with some celebrity pals at in Manhattan, again in the company of Serena Williams and Abigail Spencer.
Although she’s already made her way back to London, her baby shower weekend in NYC will certainly be one to remember.
