Queen Rania Attended Prince Charles’ 70th Birthday Celebrations
Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain was also spotted arriving at Buckingham Palace
This week, Prince Charles celebrated his 70th birthday and the guest list read like who’s who of royal families. Kings, queens, princesses and princes from Monaco, Denmark, Belgium, Greece and Spain were all in attendance, and repping the Middle East was Queen Rania of Jordan and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who were both papped in the car arriving at the black tie dinner at Buckingham Palace.
To commemorate the occasion, Clarence House released two family portraits, lensed by royal photographer Chris Jackson, of the British royal family. Meghan Markle is pictured wearing a black and white belted dress, whilst Kate chose a polka dot number by Alessandra Rich.

Prince Charles has a long-standing relationship with the Jordanian royals. The Prince of Wales has visited Amman several times, where he and the Duchess of Cornwall have both been pictured during meetings with Queen Rania and King Abdullah II.
King Abdullah II of Jordan was notably absent from the occasion as he was back in Jordan to receive the 2018 Templeton Prize for promoting religious harmony both within Islam and other faiths.
