The Archies Premiere: 5 Of The Best Moments
Everyone’s favourite childhood comic book series, the Archie Comics, is getting the Bollywood makeover and we’re preparing ourselves for all the nostalgia that’s going to come our way.
This latest adaptation of the comics is taking viewers on a trip down memory lane, all the way to India, where seven of the most loved characters of the series will reinvent themselves for the big screen. Working in collaboration with Netflix India, the movie is critically acclaimed Bollywood director Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture. The ace filmmaker is known best for her coming-of-age storytelling with movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do.
The cast of the film is made up of several young famous faces who are debuting in the industry with this release. From Khushi Kapoor to Suhana Khan, deemed ‘star kids’ by the Internet sphere, many of the actors come from a lineage of Bollywood royalty and have been in the public eye for a while because of their popular parents.

The event took place at the prestigious NMACC in Mumbai. The setup of the event included all things nostalgic from the famous comic book series. From vintage cars to bright-coloured decor, the event surely took us down memory lane. The cast arrived at the Archies premiere last evening wearing their very best ensembles.
