Former Bazaar Arabia cover star and iconic Egyptian actor Mona Zaki has announced her return to the silver screen, in a new Egyptian drama titled Rehla 404 (Flight 404), and fans cannot wait for the highly anticipated film to land in cinemas.
The upcoming movie, featuring a star-studded cast, will be released on January 25 in Egypt and on February 1 in cinemas across the Arab world. Here’s everything Bazaar Arabia knows about Rehla 404 starring Mona Zaki.

Directed by Hani Khalifa and written by Mohamed Ragaa, the men behind the project joined forces for the first time to bring to life a movie they guarantee will remain memorable in fans’ minds.
The film tells the story of Ghada (played by Mona Zaki) as she tries to break free from her old life, setting out on a new journey of self-improvement. However, while planning a trip to Mecca to fulfill her Islamic pilgrimage, she faces countless problems and finds that in order to resolve them, she must confront the people of her past she’d been working so hard to escape.
Produced by Mohamed Hefzy and Shahinaz El Aqad, the film brings together a group of talented actors, including Mohamed Farrag, Mohamed Mamdouh, Gihan El Shamashergy Shereen Reda, and many more.
Most recently, Mona shook the Middle East with her portrayal of Hanan in the Ramadan 2023 series Taht El Wesaya (Under Guardianship), receiving praise for shedding light on social issues in Egypt. The star played a newly widowed mother attempting to make her way in a male-dominated industry, all while trying to secure the future of her children.
After taking on quite a serious and pivotal role, fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Mona Zaki’s upcoming film Rehla 404, and we cannot wait to watch it alongside them.
