Ramy Youssef to Host SNL: How To Watch It In The UAE, KSA and GCC
The award-winning comedian will take the ‘SNL’ stage for the first time
Egyptian comedian, screenwriter, and actor, Ramy Youssef is set to host the next episode of Saturday Night Live. Set to air on March 30, the award-winning comedian will be joined by rapper Travis Scott as a musical guest.
The news was revealed over the weekend, during the March 9 episode of SNL, hosted by Josh Brolin with Ariana Grande as a guest performer.
A prestigious accolade in the career of any comedian, the 32-year-old star will join an illustrious list of A-list celebrities who have previously hosted the showcase including Emma Stone, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, and Kim Kardashian.
On Sunday, Ramy attended the 2024 Oscars as part of the Poor Things cast, which took home four Academy Awards after being nominated in 11 categories. While walking the red carpet, the renowned comedian made a statement by wearing a red Artists4Ceasefire pin, calling for a ceasefire between Isreal and Palestine amid the on-going conflict.
Currently, Ramy is promoting his new comedy special, Ramy Youssef: More Feelings, which premieres on March 23. He also previously hosted his eponymous series, Ramy, which ran on Hulu for three seasons. This will be his first time hosting SNL.
Where to watch Saturday Night Live in the UAE, GCC, and KSA
Ramy Youssef’s Saturday Night Live episode will air on NBC on March 30. It will also be available on the US-based streaming site Peacock.
Currently, no platform in the UAE has confirmed to be streaming SNL for viewers in the region.
