Although coming from a background in costume and design, Tuba Büyüküstün has quickly become a household name in the film industry, appearing on screens as far as 2005. And with the new Turkish series Like There’s No Tomorrow, the star is proving herself once again in the industry, her talent clear in her acting. Having dropped on Valentine’s Day, the show includes both elements of romance and thriller, giving fans four episodes as of now.

It’s clear that the star had been excited about sharing this project with her fans, posting teasers about Like There’s No Tomorrow (Yarin Yokmus Gibi) on Instagram since the beginning of the month. The series is directed by Zeynep Gunay Tan and written by Ekin Atalar.
Co-starring alongside Halit Ergenç, Tuba plays the female lead Manolya. The series revolves around the pair as Halit’s character political journalist Hakan is tasked with interviewing rising actor Manolya. It’s clear from their first encounter that Hakan believes the task is below him, becoming reserved during their conversation. However, as the evening continues certain events unfold, resulting in the duo going home together. In the span of a few hours, tension builds up as secrets arise. Investigating true human connection and honest communication, the series is not like any other.
Who Is Tuba Büyüküstün?

Named Harper’s Bazaar Turkey‘s Women of the Year 2023, Tuba is internationally recognised not just for her skills, but also for her style. Aside from accomplishing huge career achievements including becoming the first Turkish Emmy Awards nominee for her role as Melek in the critically acclaimed family drama 20 Minutes, Tuba also values social work. The mother of two is a UNICEF National Goodwill Ambassador and often uses her social media to share her work with the organisation.
Some of Tuba’s most notable work includes Rise of Empires: Ottoman, and Netflix series Another Self.
