You showrunner Sera Gamble told IndieWire that the Scream actress was initially supposed to return to the show. However, since Jenna was busy shooting Wednesday, scheduling conflicts prevented this.
“We have ideas for Ellie if her schedule allows her to visit us again,” said the television writer.
Let’s hope Jenna reprises her role as the fierce and independent Ellie.
