Amr Diab Concert
Amr Diab, a renowned singer, was set to perform in Dubai’s Coca Cola Arena Friday October 20 however, the concert has been postponed. Whilst new dates have yet to be announced, individuals can expect more information to be released very soon.
Sean Paul and T.I. Concert
Coca Cola Arena made an announcement via their Instagram to announce rescheduling the Sean Paul and T.I. concert along with Amr Diab’s. In their post Coca Cola Arena has confirmed that “over the coming days we will work closely with the authorities, promoters, and artist management to secure new dates.” Coca Cola Arena has also said “further information on ticket transfer policy and refund options will be shared imminently” for the events.
Dubai Comedy Club
In light of recent global events, Dubai’s Comedy Club has also posted on their social media page about moving shows to a later date.
El Gouna Film Festival
El Gouna Film Festival is a festival dedicated to conveying an array of films and facilitating communication between cultures through film. The festival was supposed to take place on October 13 however has since been postponed with no new dates announced yet.
Royal Opera House of Muscat Events
The Royal Opera House of Muscat announced events that were to take place on Omani Women’s day were cancelled and other performances have been suspended.
Fan Al Sawt Night Event
The Fan Al Sawt Night Concert was scheduled for October 20 at the Bahrain National Theatre. However, the Bahrain Culture Authority for Culture and Antiquities announced via Instagram that it shall be postponed. Although, they told “the audience that they have the option to retain their tickets, or request a refund by visiting Virgin Megastore at City Centre Bahrain or via their website.”
Ayjal Film Festival
Ayjal Film Festival was to run from November 8 until November 16 in Doha. This year would have marked the festivals 11th edition however, in light of recent global events, has been cancelled.
Fashion Trust Arabia Awards
According to Business of Fashion, the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards show has been postponed due to recent global events. The ceremony was set to take place in Qatar however, no new dates have been released. The FTA’s take place each year providing support to the region’s emerging talent in the fashion industry. The finalists for 2023 have already been announced, we just wait for news about the final awards ceremony.
Cairo International Film Festival
The Minister of Culture, Dr. Neven El-Kelany made the decision to postpone the Cairo International Film Festival which was about to have its 45th Edition. The Festival was set to begin November 15 and run until November 24 however, the new dates are still to be released.
