Ideal Standard Will Launch Two New Collections At Salone del Mobile
The new Calla and Joy Neo ranges merge past influences with future technology
Synonymous with unquestionable quality and fine taste, sanitaryware brand Ideal Standard has announced its participation in this year’s Salone del Mobile, the world’s biggest interior design exhibition.
Featuring the brand’s newest highlights, Ideal Standard’s showcase will introduce two new lines; Calla and Joy Neo. Bringing the best of the interior design world to the heart of Milan between 7 and 12 June, Salone del Mobile is the perfect platform for the innovative bathroom brand to demonstrate the latest additions to its renowned Atelier Collections.

Loyal to Ideal Standard’s heritage and aesthetic, the new ranges combine classic features with modern technology and innovative design to create stunning bathroom solutions. Seeking eclecticism, the new collections look back to bygone eras for inspiration while utilising the present time for smart performance. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the ranges were intended to be flexible and dynamic to fit a wide spectrum of interior styles.
“It was never our intention to create collections that can only be used in classic interior design, but instead our aim was to design products that can be adapted and fused with elements from other eras to give customers freedom to express themselves,” shares Roberto. “Innovation, heritage and the needs of the modern day are key elements represented in the neoclassical Calla and Joy Neo ranges.”

Championing clear, simple geometric shapes coupled with strong horizontal and vertical lines, Calla is highly influenced by the Victorian age and early ceramic production. Compromising a diverse range of ceramic pieces, the range offers timeless luxury and modern practicality.
Along with a stunning statement neoclassical free-standing bathtub, the collection also offers sophisticated toilets and bidets as well as elegant pedestals and basins. Capturing Ideal Standard’s signature contemporary approach to classic solutions, the basins can be combined with the more modern leg set, giving the design a makeover.

On the other hand, the Joy Neo can be described as an evolution of classicism; bridging the gap between the cylindrical Joy collection and square design elements as well as cross or lever handles. The result of this extraordinary approach is nothing less than a highly versatile and sophisticated range.
Joy Neo offers a comprehensive variety of pieces such as single lever basin mixers, dual control basin mixers, wall-mounted basin mixers and three-hole basin mixers as well as different bath and shower products; available in two finishes, magnetic grey and chrome.
Aside from the range’s unconventional design, it is also powered by cutting-edge technology. Equipped with the EcoFlow regulator, the Joy Neo embraces environment-conscious technology that reduces water consumption down to 5L/min. In parallel, it is effortless to install, thanks to the EasyFix® tech, which decreases installation time by 30 per cent.
As for the Magnetic Grey products, they are produced using Physical Vapour Deposition, which preserves the vibrancy of the coloured brassware. The chrome models utilise the SmartShine® finishing, which increases longevity and facilitates cleaning.
