Indian Actress Kiara Advani Is All Set To Make Her Cannes Film Festival Debut
The actress is expected to attend the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema gala dinner alongside Saudi, Egyptian and international stars
Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is set to make her anticipated Cannes Film Festival debut as the 77th edition of the event that commenced on May 14 is taking place with full force.
Kiara will be attending the Red Sea Film Foundation’s Women in Cinema gala dinner at Cannes.
The 31-year-old artist is expected to make an appearance the event on May 18, alongside five other luminaries from the global entertainment industry.
Egyptian actress Salma Abu Deif, Saudi stars Adhwa Fahad and Aseel Omran, Thai sensation Sarocha Chankimha, and the esteemed French-Senegalese director Ramata-Toulaye Sy are also expected to be part of the night, according to reports. Adding to its allure, sources say the film festival will also be graced by Indian artists Aishwarya Rai and Aditi Rao Hydari, serving as ambassadors of L’Oreal Paris,
No strangers to the Cannes red carpet, both of the stars were in attendance last year. Aishwarya chose a silver Sophie Couture gown embellished with sequins for the occasion and Aditi adorned a yellow ballgown by Dubai-based designer Michael Cinco.
This year, India is taking centre stage at the Cannes Film Festival, as Payal Kapadia’s acclaimed feature film All We Imagine As Light competing for the prestigious Palme d’Or award. India will also be proudly presenting Bharat Parv at the 77th edition of the affair.
