The IPL, Indian Premiere League, is one of the most anticipated cricket events of the year. Hosted in Ahmedabad, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, 10 teams compete over a course of 2 months, all in hope to grab the shiny trophy at the end. After a long and difficult battle, only two teams remained for final — the Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans.
Although initially scheduled to play on Sunday, the match was rescheduled to Monday due to rainy conditions. From the excitement of the crowd, the fight for the title, and the unexpected recurrence of the rain, this match will definitely be one for the history books.
The event even welcomed some of our favourite Indian artists and celebrities to the venue. From Sara Ali Khan in the stands, to artist King on the stage, there was absolutely nothing missing from this cricket game.

Chennai Super Kings are the newest IPL victors
Captained by legendary cricketer, M.S Dhoni, Chennai took the coveted trophy after an extremely heated battle with their opponent, Gujarat Titans. With both teams beating the previous record of most amount of runs made in an IPL final.
Ravindra Jadeja’s ultimate comeback
With only 2 balls left and 10 runs to make, Ravindra Jadeja shocked the entire stadium with a 6,4 combo, hitting the game winning ball all the way to the boundary. This is definitely going in the cricket hall of fame.
Gujarat Titans putting on an incredible fight
From setting the highest score in history during an IPL final for their opposing team to beat, to their amazing fielding, Gujarat Titans did not make the battle for the trophy easy.
