The 24-year-old Russian-Bahraini model was crowned Miss Universe Bahrain in September and is expected to compete in the 71st Miss Universe pageant in January 2023, which will take place in New Orleans.

Who is Miss Bahrain, Evlin Abdullah-Khalifa?
She calls Riffa, Bahrain home – and is very close with her family.
Born to a Russian mother and Bahraini father, Evlin Abdullah-Khalifa grew up in the Kingdom’s second-largest city, Riffa. Take a quick scroll through her feed and you’ll see her brother, Nader, making an appearance in many of her photos and posts. In interviews, she often refers to her parents and grandmother, which makes it clear she prioritises family above all else.
She is a trained pianist and Taekwondo artist.
Like all of the other Miss Universe contenders, Evlin isn’t just a pretty face. According to The National, Miss Universe Bahrain is a trained pianist. The 24-year-old beauty also has worked as a model.
She’s working to raise awareness for various charities and initiatives.
Most recently, Evlin posted a photo with Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft charity that works to raise funds so children around the world can have their clelt-palettes and lips corrected with reconstructive surgery.
It’s also been reported that she works to raise awareness for anorexia.
She enjoys traveling the world.
