Jordan’s Crown Prince AlHussein Shares A Sweet Moment with Little Princess Iman

His Royal Highness posted an adorable photo with his daughter on Instagram

A little over two weeks ago Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the youngest member of the Jordanian royal family, made her earth side debut – and, of course, everyone in the family is completely smitten with her especially her father, His Royal Highness Crown Prince AlHussein bin Abdullah II.

On Monday morning he shared a touching photo with his daughter, captioning it “‏With my precious one.”

Princess Iman looked very cosy in a pink giraffe-print Kissy Kissy onesie and matching hat, wrapped up in an aden + anais cotton muslin swaddle. The Crown Prince was in his military fatigues.

The King and Queen of Jordan are also thrilled with becoming grandparents for the first time. Last week, Her Majesty Queen Rania shared a photo of herself with King Abdullah II spending quality time with their grand daughter.

“So much cuteness in my arms,” she captured the touching photo.

Welcome to the World, Princess Iman!

News broke in the early hours of Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 that the Crown Prince and Princess had welcomed the safe arrival of a baby girl.

Both the King and Queen, along with the Royal Hashemite Court, took to their official social media channels to announce this special moment in Jordan’s history.

“Praise be to God who gave us our first granddaughter, Iman bint Al-Hussein,” the King of Jordan wrote in a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. “I congratulate Al-Hussein and Rajwa on their newborn baby. We ask God to give her good growth and protect her for her parents.”

The Jordanian royal family shared the first images of the little princess meeting her extended family just hours after HRH Princess Rajwa gave birth. The touching photographs showed the King and Queen, along with Princess Iman bint Abdullah (the Crown Prince’s sister, who many think his daughter is named after), Princess Salma and Prince Hashem cuddling and smiling at little Princess Iman.

In Arabic, the name Iman means faith or recognition. The Jordan royal family has a history of naming children after well-respected family members and while the royal couple have not shared any insight into their choice of name, it’s worth noting that Crown Prince Al Hussein is very close with his young sister.
