Dubai Fitness Challenge 2023: Everything You Need To Know About Sheikh Hamdan’s Initiative

Dubai’s 30×30 Fitness Challenge is back for another edition. Launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, this 30-day initiative focuses on completing 30 minutes of exercise for an entire month.

The 2023 edition’s official dates have been announced and are taking place from October 28 to November 26, with many events running throughout this time. The challenge was first created in 2017 and has been running every year since. The initiative’s purpose is to encourage individuals to exercise for 30 minutes every day for 30 days to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Various events for 2023 that have already been announced via the dubaifitnesschallenge website such as the annual Dubai cycle on November 12, and the Dubai Run on November 26.

Last year the Dubai Run became the world’s largest run as Sheikh Zayed Road was used as a running track. HH Sheikh Hamdan led the event himself consisting of more than 193,000 individuals.

As stated on dubaifitnesschallenge.com HH Sheikh Hamdan has said “Dubai is a city that recognizes the importance of physical, mental and social well-being and constantly strives to provide everyone opportunities for an active lifestyle. All it takes for you to succeed is an unyielding pledge to enjoy 30 minutes of activity for 30 days. I challenge each and every one of you to embrace your fitness journey and make a difference in your life. Together, let’s make the UAE the most active country in the world.”
