Queen Rania of Jordan Channels High Street Style While Paying A Visit To The Tal Al Rumman Women’s Cooperative

Her Majesty was spotted in, what appears to be, an oversized, mauve belted shirt jacket from Zara as she met with women from the cooperative

HRH Queen Rania of Jordan took a special trip out to Al Balqa Governate to visit the Tal Al Rumman Women’s Cooperative. The trip was a memorable experience for Her Majesty as she learned about the economic and social empowerment programme, which aims to support women in rural areas through training sessions that range from dairy production to sewing.

While taking a tour of the Tal Al Rumman Women’s Cooperative, Her Majesty met with the cooperative’s president, Ayda Ghanmeh and the cooperative’s board of directors. Furthermore, during her trip, Her Majesty also visited the headquarters of the cooperative, a vegetable farm and the hydroponic greenhouse projects.

The women’s cooperative offers a range of vocational skills like agriculture to sewing since it was established in 2017.

The organisation also aims to support disadvantaged families by providing them with a clothing bank. Additionally, the cooperative also seeks to empower women by creating a productive kitchen that can help them enhance their way of life.

Did Queen Rania actually step out in a Zara coat?

While an official spokesperson has yet to confirm if Her Majesty did indeed step out in a jacket by the high street retailer, some sources are reporting that she was spotted in this mauve belted shirt jacket.

In the past, Queen Rania has opted for a high-low style, mixing high street with designer pieces when dressing for public appearances — so we certainly wouldn’t be surpried if this was the case.

While Bazaar Arabia couldn’t find the exact same jacket on Zara’s website, we found a similar style in Light Grey and Mink here.
