When it comes to sophisticated style, the British Duchess’ certainly know how to do it best. Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stole the show at the Queen’s annual Commonwealth Day services at Westminster Abbey with seemingly coordinated jewel-toned outfits that we simply couldn’t get enough of.
Meghan Markle stunned in emerald green
The Duchess of Sussex opted for a striking emerald green caped dress from New Zealand-born British designer Emilia Wickstead. Meghan paired the elegant outfit with a matching William Chambers and dainty diamond earrings from Birks. To complete the look, Meghan opted for a complementary deep green clutch from Gabriela Hearst and sky-high nude heels from Aquazzura.
Kate radiated sustainable elegance in a ruby red ensemble
The Duchess of Cambridge was the picture of demure, royal elegance by recycling a striking Catherine Walker coat dress which she last wore at Sandringham. Kate added a new take on the fit-and-flare coat by pairing it with a tonal hat from Sally Ann Provan and perfectly coordinated Gianvito Rossi pumps. The Duchess continued to showcase just how on trend re-wearing pieces is by accessorising with jewellery pieces we have seen before – a delicate pair of diamond and ruby drop earrings and her iconic sapphire engagement ring.
