Kate Middleton, future Queen of England, has just released a podcast interview to discuss the importance of the early years with Giovanna Fletcher on “Happy Mum, Happy Baby.” In the rare interview, the Duchess of Cambridge gives never-revealed-before insight into her own childhood and her experiences of mothering Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“If I take the experiences of my own childhood, coupled with what I’ve learned now from the experts in the Early years sector, I think there there’s a few things that really stand out for me. One is quality of relationships. So those moments that you spend with people that are around you. I remember that from my own childhood,” said Kate passionately. “I try to incorporate a lot of the experiences that she [Granny] gave us at the time into the experiences I give my children now,” continued Kate as she shared details of her “amazing” Granny growing up.
The 35 minute-long podcast aims to raise awareness for the Duchess’ nationwide “5 Big Questions on the Under Fives” survey which aims to spark conversations on the lasting impact of early years of child development with the goal of bringing about a postive change for future generations.
