Education Comes First

In 2020, he received a baccalaureate diploma after completing his high school education. It seems like the Crown Prince has an interest in formal studies regarding politics as it was reported that His Royal Highness then enrolled in The Social Sciences, Economics, and Humanities Cluster at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in the city of Sala Al Jadida, according to a Morocco World News report.

He’s Celebrating His Birthday Soon

His Royal Highness was born on May 8, 2003, in the Rabat Royal Palace. The 20-year-old prince was named after his grandfather, the late King Hassan II, former ruler of Morocco. He is the oldest child of the current king and has a sister, Princess Lalla Khadija.

He Actively Takes Part In Royal Duties

Despite being one of the youngest heirs to the throne in the MENA region, the Crown Prince is well aware of his royal duties and is often seen representing his family at state events. He recently attended International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM) in Meknes city. 

He Frequently Attends Sporting Events

On April 28, His Royal Highness chaired the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s Official Show Jumping Competition 3 of the Royal Guard in Rabat, under the High Patronage of His Majesty the King.

In 2019, the Crown Prince presided over the ceremony awarding the King Mohammed VI Grand Prix for Cavalry in the official show jumping competition, a testament to his interest in sports and his ability to connect with the people of Morocco. 

He Was Part of The One Planet Summit 

In 2017, at the age of 14-years-old, Crown Prince Moulay became the youngest participant at the One Planet Summit in France. The young royal had travelled with his father for the visit and was welcomed by international officials, including French President Emmanuel Macron who received the prince in the Élysée Palace.
