Princess Iman‘s wedding: Everything we know about the nuptials, due to take place in just a few days.
Back in July 2022 the Royal Hashemite Court revealed that Princess Iman, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, was engaged to Jameel Thermiotis – and ever since, much speculation has been had over the official wedding details, especially as her older brother, Crown Prince Hussein, is also due to get married to his fiancé, Saudi national Rajwa Alseif.
Today the court announced that the Princess and her fiancé would be getting married this spring.
News broke via the royal court’s official social media channels.
When is Princess Iman of Jordan Getting Married?
Princess Iman will wed Jameel Thermiotis on March 12, 2023.
“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that the wedding of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis will take place on 12 March 2023,” the caption read. “The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Thermiotis a lifetime of happiness.”

Details about the nuptials have been hard to come by, as the royal family of Jordan keeps a tight lip on what we can expect to see during the March 12 festivities.
Who is Jameel Thermiotis, Princess Iman of Jordan’s Fiancé?
There are few details about Jameel Thermiotis online (and he doesn’t appear to have a social media presence), however, Bazaar Arabia has uncovered the following facts.
His full name is Jameel Alexander Thermiotis.
According to Grazia Middle East, 28-year-old Jameel Alexander Thermiotis was born in Caracas, Venezuela to Alexandros Thermiotis and Corina Hernández. He is the eldest of three siblings, Alexia and Alejandros.
His family is Greek.
Coming from a prominent Greek family, Jameel and his family maintain a strong connection to their heritage with frequent trips to the island of Andros. Princess Iman’s fiance is a well-traveled individual, having been exposed to different cultures and languages throughout his life. He is a proud member of his Greek family and is a testament to their commitment to preserving their culture and traditions.
He Studied in Florida.
He attended school in the United States and graduated with a Business Administration and Business from Florida International University.
He’s a Managing Partner at an NYC venture capital firm.
