When is Princess Rajwa Due? New Maternity Photos Suggest The Little One Could Be Arriving Very Soon

Bazaar Arabia shares everything we know about the expected arrival date of the royal baby here

Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first child!

The royal couple, along with the entire Royal Hashemite court, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest member of the family.

Dressed in a bright red Alice + Olivia pleated midi Vernia dress, Her Royal Highness looked absolutely radiant as she posed with her hands under her growing belly.

News broke in April that the Princess was expecting the couple’s first child ten months after their lavish nuptials took place in Zahran Palace in Amman, Jordan. In an official statement, the Hashemite Court wrote “The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer.”

Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa Wed Last June in Amman, Jordan

Having met through school friends, the young royal couple wed in a lavish ceremony last summer.

The Princess was escorted by her brother-in-law, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah and walked down the aisle in an elegant white gown designed by renowned Lebanese couturier Elie Saab; she later changed into a Dolce & Gabbana gown for the state reception segment of the royal wedding.

How Did Jordan’s Crown Prince Al Hussein Meet Princess Rajwa?

Attended by the likes Their Royal Highnesses Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales, Their Royal Highnesses Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and King Williem-Alexander of Netherlands, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Princess Elisabeth of Belgium—among other dignitaries—the Jordanian royal wedding was best described as something straight out of a fairytale.

The Crown Prince and Princess’ nuptials happened three months after Princess Iman’s wedding to Jameel Thermiotis, a 28-year-old businessman from a prominent Greek family. The younger sister of Crown Prince Al Hussein wore a classic Dior gown adorned with lace-cuff sleeves and a high neckline, brought together with an elegant matching veil and regal tiara by Chaumet.

A Summer Baby on The Way

Along with the Jordanian royal family, well-wishers and observers are keenly awaiting the birth, which will mark a significant moment for The Kingdom’s legacy. Naturally, everyone is keen to wonder when exactly the little one can expect to make his or her debut…

When is Princess Rajwa Due?

The Royal Hashemite Court has confirmed Princess Rajwa’s due date is set to take place sometime this summer.

Most women don’t announce their pregnancy until the first trimester is over; therefore it is likely Princess Rajwa is at least three to six months along, meaning the baby could arrive any time between June through to September.

However, it is important to note that without the court’s official confirmation – or Princess Rajwa’s doctor’s – there is no way to verify the exact due date or month.

This momentous event is not only a personal joy for the royal couple, but a symbol of The Kingdom’s legacy that will be continued. The anticipation is growing beyond Jordan and across the world as the summer months begin and the promise of a new arrival in the royal lineage continues.
