If there’s something the region isn’t short of it’s well-dressed royals — and Qatar’s Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned is, undoubtedly, at the top of the list.
Her Highness visited The Museum Of Islamic Art in Doha yesterday evening, where she opened the “Baghdad: Eye’s Delight” exhibition.
Featuring books, prints, photographs and other artifacts the exhibition was put together with pieces on loan from world-famous museums, including the Louvre. It comes as part of Qatar Creates Week, a collaboration between automobile giant Audi and Qatar Airways that showcases Qatari art, fashion and culture to local and global audiences.
The event is slated to run from October 23 to 29, and boasts a jam-packed schedule of events that range from art exhibitions to inspiring panels and beyond, all creating the buzz in the lead up to the FIFA World Cup 2022, coming to the Arabian Peninsula for the very first time in Doha.
For her appearance at the “Baghdad: Eye’s Delight” exhibit, Her Highness looked stunning in a colourful abaya that featured bright shades, traditional embroidery, sequins and beading on the sleeves. She paired the coat-like abaya with all-black underneath, black pumps, and a sheer black shayla.
