The daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoumand her husband, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum spent their weekend doing what any other young couple would do in the days that followed the announcement of their growing family: they went out for a relaxed date day at one of the city’s favourite Italian eateries.
Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana Dine Out At Cipriani Dolci
HH Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana popped into Cipriani Dolci, an upscale Italian restaurant, known for its coffer and desserts. The couple sipped on caffè shakeratos, a special Italian style iced espresso, while eating what appears to be pistachio ice-cream.
Inspired by Venice’s cuisine and architecture, Cipriani Dolci offers all-day casual dining in 3 prime locations, Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and DIFC. Infused with distinct Italian flavours, Cipriani Dolci provides a wide variety of soups, salads and pizzas, and are especially known for their mouth-watering desserts.
This is not the first time that Sheikh Mana was spotted at Cipriani Dolci; the Dubai Royal visited the Italian restaurant in Dubai Mall with a group of friends last week.
Recently, Sheikh Mana took to Instagram to announce that he graduated from MBR School of Government’s Accelerated Leadership On-boarding Program. This special program covers vital topics such as Public Leadership, Public Finance, Government Strategies, AI and Data Policies, Government Excellence and Innovation.
HH Sheikha Mahra completed the same program on March 16.
When is Sheikha Mahra due? The couple announced earlier this month that they’re expecting their first child together.
The Dubai royal took to Instagram stories on October 18 to share an image of an ultrasound scan, revealing that she is expecting a baby. Her Highness placed a white heart on the photo, expressing her love and excitement for the upcoming bundle of joy. “Just the three of us,” Her Highness wrote in the caption, tagging her husband Sheikh Mana.
As most women don’t reveal that they’re pregnant until after the first trimester is over, it’s likely Sheikha Mahra is at least three to four months along, meaning the baby could possibly arrive any time between March 2024 and April 2024– but without confirmation, it’s anyone’s guess.
Who is Sheikh Mana al Maktoum, Sheikha Mahra’s husband?
While Sheikh Mana al Maktoum keeps a relatively low profile, he is quite active on Instagram and appears to be stepping into the spotlight more often, especially since the couple’s wedding and honeymoon in Greece.
The young Dubai royal appears to enjoy the great outdoors, often posting about his adventures skiing in Europe, and seems passionate about the UAE’s growing culinary scene, having invested in Novikov.
Like many other royals from the region, he appears to be a a big football fan, having recently posted a photo with Ronaldinho.
