Back in early May 2024 Her Highness Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced she had given birth to a baby girl.
Named after her mother, little Sheikha Mahra quickly captured the hearts of well-wishers around the world – and Her Highness, ever the proud mum, has selectively shared a few snaps of her daughter with the public via her official Instagram channels.
As we approach her four month birthday, Sheikha Mahra has opted to share another new image of her little girl. On Monday, September 2, 2024 Her Highness posted a photo of her daughter lying on a blanket at home, looking straight at the camera.
“My everything,” she wrote in the caption.

A few days after giving birth, Her Highness posted an image of herself and Dr. Fadi Mirza, who was holding little Sheikha Mahra.
This was one of the first photos Sheikha Mahra shared of her daughter, before proceeding to post a few more images on her feed where her baby’s face was hidden.
This particular photo was posted about a month after the baby’s birth. “Just the two of us,” she wrote in the caption, snuggling little Sheikha Mahra.
Of course, we wouldn’t be surprised if Her Highness has plans to pass along her love of equestrian sports to her daughter. In a recent post Sheikha Mahra shared an image of herself showing her daughter a drawing of a horse, captioning it with a white heart.
“Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra,” she wrote on the post, sharing a touching photo of herself hugging her father.
The post came days after she shared a sweet photo of her daughter.
What did Sheikha Mahra’s message to her father Sheikh Mohammed mean?
The Dubai royal and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia January 2024 cover star has been sharing insight into her personal life throughout the past few weeks via Instagram. Therefore, we can only assume she has been seeking out family support during tough times – like any daughter would.
“I take great pride in embodying the values of being Emirati, which include being a symbol of love, family, kindness, and camaraderie,” Her Highness told Bazaar Arabia back in January 2024, touching on how she feels strongly connected to both of her parent’s side.
“My upbringing was deeply rooted in Greek culture by my mother, and as a result, I feel a strong sense of connection to it. Maintaining close ties with my family is a significant priority in my life, as it serves as a means to remain closely connected to my cultural heritage.”

Dubai’s royal family celebrated the joyous occasion on May 1st, when little Sheikha Mahra was born. The news was announced the following day via Instagram.
