Love was in the air yesterday evening as sweethearts throughout the UAE celebrated the one day of the year dedicated to romance – and Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and her husband, Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum, were one of the couples who decided to pop out for a Valentine’s Day date night.

With breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline in the background and a Saxophone player serenading the pair with a rendition of Careless Whisper.
The royal couple dine out at a candle-lit secluded location (possibly near Address Dubai Mall or at Nazcaa, a Peruvian-Japanese restaurant?), the Burj Khalifa in the near distance.
The couple also appeared to be celebrating the anniversary of their engagement, as Sheikha Mahra shared a photo of a cake, which boasts a cut out of a man down on one knee proposing to his sweetheart, next to a lush bouquet of red and white roses.
The royal couple have only been married for only a few months, but are already preparing for their next chapter in life together…
Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana are expecting their first child soon.
The couple announced their pregnancy back in October 2023.
The Dubai princess took to Instagram stories to share an image of an ultrasound scan on her IG Stories, revealing that she is expecting a baby — their first child together. Her Highness placed a white heart on the photo, expressing her love and excitement for the upcoming bundle of joy.
“Just the three of us,” Her Highness wrote in the caption, tagging Sheikh Mana.
In January 2024, Sheikha Mahra shared with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia in an exclusive interview what she was most excited about when it comes to raising children of her own.
“I am eagerly anticipating the opportunity to witness the growth and development of my children. It is my intention to provide them with a nurturing and loving environment, and most importantly, to support them in discovering their true selves,” she told our Editor in Cheif, Olivia Phillips. “My mother instilled in me the value of showing kindness to others and leading with empathy rather than judgment. I aspire to pass on this important lesson to my own children.”

Back in June 2023 Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana wed in a lavish ceremony at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Pictures and video clips of the ceremony were widely shared on social media platforms by one of Sheikha Mahra’s friends, showcasing the luxurious decorations that adorned the Saeed Hall. On her special day, the beautiful bride wore an embroidered dress crafted by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture, paired with exquisite diamond jewellery and a diamond watch by Chopard.
The Royal Couple Honeymooned in Greece over the summer.
The newlyweds continued to revel in their post-nuptial bliss by holiday in Greece throughout the summer.
The picturesque visuals from the holiday in Mykonos include a visit to the popular restaurant Nammos, enjoying the beautiful sunset, a visit to the beach where the couple enjoyed a ride on a jet ski, and indulging in some authentic cuisine.
Additionally, HH Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana were spotted strolling the streets together in casual attire with Her Highness’ latest Instagram post. Her Highness is wearing a turquoise printed co-ord, pairing the look with white sandals and a handbag; her husband looks relaxed in khaki slacks, a button-down shirt, and a straw fedora hat.
