Sheikha Mahra Shares Adorable Throwback Photo To Celebrate Her Mother’s Birthday
The mother-daughter duo continues to commemorate every milestone together
Her Highness, Sheikha Mahra shares an unbreakable bond with her mother, Zoe Grigorakos.
Yesterday, the young royal posted an adorable throwback photo of the pair in celebration of her mother’s birthday. Taking to Instagram Stories, Sheikha Mahra shared: “Happy birthday Mum. I love you,” alongside an image showcasing a young Zoe Grigorakos and Sheikha Mahra as a baby.
Her Highness, who turned 30 this year and just gave birth to her first child, frequently commemorates important milestones with her mother by her side. She recently shared a series of sweet images from her birthday party, capturing a sentimental moment with Mrs. Grigorakos posing next her.
Last year, Her Highness graduated with a degree in International Relations from a prestigious university in London, and her mother flew out for the occasion.
Mrs. Grigorakos also accompanied her daughter, and her husband Sheikh Mana, on their honeymoon in 2023, enjoying a luxury getaway to Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos with the couple.
From attending the Dubai World Cup to having dinner dates at Nammos, the mother-daughter duo love exploring Dubai together, and always make an effort to spend quality time with each other – while documenting their adventures in co-ordinating outfits.
In an interview with Bazaar Arabia for her January 2023 cover story, Sheikha Mahra reflected on the lessons imparted to her by mother, and how she plans to raise her own family in the same way. “My mother instilled in me the value of showing kindness to others and leading with empathy rather than judgment. I aspire to pass on this important lesson to my own children,” she said.
